Ok, so I thought that I would wait until something pivotal happened before officially starting my blog, but I figure why not go ahead.
Really, I’m just board out of my mind right now – Brad and I agreed to work the bowling alley at ACU for a high school lock-in. The catch is that it is from midnight until 4am! And it’s only 1:30 in the morning…it’s going to be a long night.
Anywho, most of you (if there are any of you) who are reading this know Brad and I, but for the uninitiated, I am a 26 (27 in 13 days!) year old married woman in Abilene Texas. I work for a television station in the New Media department, and my husband works in sales at the same TV station. We’ve been married for over 8 years now and have been trying to have kids…unsuccessfully so far, but it’s early yet.
Our best friends out here are Christi and Brian, they’ve just had a beautiful baby boy named Jackson – Christi’s doing an awesome job of blogging all about Jackson’s life, which is I guess what inspired me to get back into doing a little blogging myself!
Anyway, I guess that’s about it for a first post – Unfortunately this only ate up about 15 minutes…

I was here and I read your post. I was up early working on lecture notes for my transmission class. If it would make you feel any better, Scotti and I will lease you one or more of ours! We offer easy terms. Just kidding. Hang in there. We love you guys!

Very nice job on the blog
Did working at the bowling alley bring back memories? I remember getting to play there for free when Brad was in charge. Good times!

Hi Amanda! My name is Jennifer and I think we have met a few times…probably when we were a lot younger and through Mandy (Rutledge) Koiner. I saw your blog from Christi’s and that I would say hi!
