The Web Still Thwarts Me!

Well, I’m feeling much better and back at work now, thank you all for your comments! Of course as usual I’m running behind on blogging! Work has been a little less hectic, albeit no less frustrating this week. I’m still puzzling over the whole good content vs. it has to make money issues that keep cropping up. We’re expected to make this great site that will make all sorts of money…but of course the powers that be are more interested in making money than content…but then wonder why we’re not making any money right now, which is of course because the content is sub-par…it’s a wonderful circle of craziness!

Brad is feeling the strain of new bosses too…he is pressured more than ever to sell for the sake of selling, so he’s feeling a little burnt out right now…I never thought I’d say it, but I think I’d actually enjoy working for the enemy right now, they have great content…and about triple the staff just for web! But, we’ll see where this roller coaster goes for a bit longer.

Brad and I are of course hopelessly addicted to watching TV on DVD still – our newest pet project is Firefly, the TV series behind the movie Serenity. So sad, it’s a great series that was canceled after only 14 episodes! Too bad there’s not more of a following for a good Space Western these days (read: I’m a dork!).

Anywho, I guess that’s all I got for now…if anyone hears of a really great paying web job, call me!
