Ok, so I’ve definitely decided that next week I have to get some actual work done. I’ve not really been procrastinating, mind you, there just isn’t very much going on to keep me busy! But, I’m going to try and find some actual productive things to do, and definitely I’m going to have to block Digg.com for a day or two! There are way too many interesting obscure stories on the web, and I find myself spending way too much time going through them! So, that’s my #1 goal for next week, to actually get some stuff done to where I feel productive…
I still like the job, don’t get me wrong, I just don’t feel very challenged right now. I am hoping that production will pick up in the fall, and then I’ll feel a bit useful, but right now I am just feeling a bit jaded – I’ve gone from being a manager, to working in the new media initiative…to being shoved in a closet with not much to do and not very much responsibility. I don’t think it’s as bad as I think it is, I just have this sinking suspicion that this new GM thinks I’m not worth much responsibility. I dunno, maybe it’s just because it’s 1am and I’m really tired.
Brad and I saw Get Smart tonight with another couple from work. I was pleasantly surprised actually. We don’t usually see comedies in the theatre, we save them for rentals. And for some reason I usually don’t end up laughing out loud at a comedy, even though I enjoy them. Well, this movie actually had some laugh out loud moments for me. Anyway, I don’t want to give anything away, but I would recommend it!
Well, I’m getting pretty tired, so I’ll leave you with my latest two creations. The first was done as an office joke.Ever since Brad’s fellow sales mates found out that he was an Obama supporter, they’ve been giving him a hard time…so Brad jumped on the green wall this morning and had me create a little campaign photo for him:
The second is yet another Photoshop tutorial.
I really do enjoy the chance to hone some Photoshop skills at work, although I still feel a little guilty about it – I guess I can find a some consolation in the fact that hopefully it will help me produce a better product for the station!
And that is that. Have a great weekend everyone!

Nice job! I had no idea the connections Brad possesses.
